Kathy Kinlaw is Associate Director of the Emory University Center for Ethics and Director of the Center’s Program in Health Sciences and Ethics. She serves as Bioethics Associate in Pediatrics, Emory School of Medicine; and Executive Director of the Health Care Ethics Consortium of Georgia.

Kathy is as a member of the CDC Ethics Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee to the Director, and is on the GeorgiaComposite Board of Medical Examiners. Since 1994 she has co-directed the School of Medicine’s teaching in Clinical Ethics.  Her publications and scholarly interests are primarily in the areas of:  palliative and end of life care, ethics and medical education, perinatal and neonatal ethics, the work of ethics committees, and public health ethics.
